What is Japanese Tenugui?

It has been used to wipe the body and as a haberdashery to express one's personality. The edges are left cut, making it highly absorbent and quick-drying, making it hygienic. In the past, it was used in various ways, such as by tearing it up and using it as a bandage or as a thong for footwear. It has advantages that terry cloth does not have, and is widely used for gifts and events.

Finishing characteristics

We will print onto the tenugui body using an appropriate printing method according to your desired design and other conditions. Designs can be expressed neatly with relatively little bleeding.

The ink also penetrates to the back.

Optional anti-fray sewing

The fraying of the edges will subside with use. One of the advantages of tenugui is that they dry quickly because they are left uncut, but if fraying bothers you, you can sew them down.
Anti-fray stitching is available at an additional cost .

*The color tone may differ from the actual printed color.
*The color tone may vary even with the same color number due to differences in the printing method and towel itself.
*The printed color may be blurred depending on the combination of the towel body color and the printing color.
*We do not recommend printing on light colors (lime, pink, turquoise, gray, etc.) on colored towels as they are easily affected by the base.
*Frame prints (pigment prints) are made by printing pigment ink on a towel and drying it with heat. Since the pigment ink is placed on top of the uneven fabric, the printed side is particularly susceptible to friction, so when wiping off water or sweat, please use the back side (the non-printed side) as much as possible. Also, to avoid fading or color transfer, please do not leave it wet with water or sweat.
