Design calligraphy artist.
Born in Tottori Prefecture. Founded advertising production company Creative Room Ben in 1985.
He produces designs, illustrations, events, etc., and in 1993 he founded the Japan Advertising Calligraphy Association, serving as its vice director.
He won the Japan Industrial Newspaper Advertising Grand Prize and the Dentsu Award, and has since worked on advertising calligraphy for TV commercials, logos, poetry, packaging labels, and more.
He has held solo exhibitions, workshops, and performance calligraphy, and currently teaches at the NHK Culture Center and Kintetsu Culture Salon.

Calligrapher and design calligrapher. He has run the Benihana Calligraphy School for 27 years. He has taught calligraphy to a total of 100,000 people at 10 classrooms and events both in Japan and overseas. He wrote the calligraphy for the WBS World Business Satellite "Reiwa". He is the author of "The Lotus Sutra Calligraphy Practice Book".
In 2019, the Benihana Juku 25th Anniversary Exhibition was held at the Minato Mirai Gallery.

Held solo exhibitions at the Itchiku Kubota Art Museum, New York, and Milan.
A live performance was given in front of Prince and Princess Akishino.
